How to upgrade to the new Sophos Endpoint Security and Control products

All existing customers of Sophos Endpoint Security and Control (not our small business solutions) are entitled to receive the latest versions of Sophos Endpoint Security and Control (including Anti-Virus, Enterprise Console, EM Library, Sophos Client Firewall and Sophos NAC) under the terms of their current license and at no additional cost.

How to upgrade

• If you are running Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+ , version 6, Enterprise Console, version 2, and EM Library, version 1.3, refer to the Software retirement table. You should now upgrade to the latest versions, as described in the next section of this article, 'Upgrading current versions'.
• If you are running obsolete versions of Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows, Enterprise Console and EM Library, refer to Upgrading obsolete versions.

Upgrading current versions

The latest Sophos products can be downloaded from the Sophos website. For detailed instructions on upgrading to the latest versions, refer to the following:

• The Network upgrade guide: upgrading from Enterprise Console version 3.0 provides detailed instructions on upgrading from Enterprise Console version 3 and Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+, version 7.0.

Upgrading obsolete versions

Obsolete Sophos Anti-Virus versions cannot be used with Enterprise Console.
